If the item has passed the inspection, you will be notified if your refund has been approved and shall be processed to your original payment method. Please allow a few days for the transaction to be complete.

We currently do not provide any overseas shipping options or transactions. UK only (for now!!)

Where is your Jewellery made?

Each piece is posted and packaged in recyclable paper and packaging or can be re-used for something else. We strongly hold our views and values to ethically sourced stones, metal and all other materials

Where does the name BABU come from?

5

My son!! When he was first learning to talk, he was delayed in his speech and had trouble saying ‘mama’ or ‘mummy’ so he called me Babu instead.

FYI - He has zero issues with talking now!

How do I look after my Jewellery?

8

We take great pride in our Jewellery pieces and take great care in crafting these pieces with artistry at its finest. We strongly believe that all your Jewellery should be crafted to last not just one lifetime, but many!! Most Jewellery items are somewhat durable but not indestructible. Over time, it will naturally evolve, some natural wear and tear and become dull - all very normal!!

Unless it is an engagement/wedding ring, treat your BABU Jewellery as occasion wear. Any repairs are not covered in the price.

Take a look at our Jewellery care section.

I’m in love with your Jewellery but the prices of gold are too daunting. Can I request an piece in silver or 9ct Gold?

In this current climate, the prices of gold especially, is unpredictable, unprecedented and somewhat a little scary. However, at Babu Jewellery, we fully believe that a well crafted piece of Jewellery is for everyone!! If you see something you like but want it in a more wallet friendly metal like Silver or 9ct gold, please contact us and pre-order your piece and we will do our best to accommodate.

What are your post and packaging methods? Can I come and collect it?

10

At Babu, it’s important to us to be planet friendly. That’s why all of our packaging are recyclable or can be reused for something else.

For posting, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed next day by 1pm. This requires a signature from the customer.. For anything of a certain value, we use a same day courier with an agreed upon price with the customer.

We also provide the option of coming to the studio and collect your piece in person. Please take note that at BABU, we have a workshop dog named Gus. He is a Beagle. He is extremely friendly, loves fuss and attention but will most probably be belly up asleep. You can see a photo of him in the Contact Us page or on our Instagram.
